  30.     DBAN is now wrapped in a winimage self extractor. This will make
  31.     things
  32.     easier for those who prefer GUI apps.
  33.     To use this option:
  34.            1. Place a floppy in your a: drive.
  35.            2. Click on the Start button and then choose Programs->Eraser->
  36.            Create Boot Nuke Disk.
  37.            3. Ensure 'Writing on Floppy' is ticked.
  38.            Tick 'Formatting' if your floppy needs to be formatted.
  39.            4. Click OK.
  40.            Result: Your Boot Nuke Disk has now been created.
  41.            5. Boot up your PC with the floppy still remaining in your a: drive.
  42.            Result: All drives will now be erased.
  43.            IMPORTANT: USE WITH EXTREME CAUTION

  46.     1. Eraser now includes 'Darik's Boot and Nuke' disk. There is a new
  47.     directory under Eraser called 'boot'.
  48.     For a summary:
  49.     'Darik's Boot and Nuke ("DBAN") is a self-contained boot floppy that
  50.     securely wipes the hard disks of most computers. DBAN will
  51.     automatically and completely delete the contents of any hard disk
  52.     that
  53.     it can detect, which makes it an appropriate utility for bulk or
  54.     emergency data destruction.'

  94.         After testing with the windows installer we concluded that

  104.        a machine and erase it from the floppy.
  105.        We are experimenting with creating a FAT32 boot disk using
  106.        FreeDOS see http://www.freedos.com this would allow you to
  107.        erase > 2gig partitions.
